Department Profile

The department of computer science and engineering was started in the academic year 2001-2002. The department has well qualified faculty member specialized in various area.The department has a good infrastructure and its impart high quality education and is structured to meet the present day needs of the society. The department is equipped with excellence laboratories.

With is fine infrastructure and ability to maintain high academic standards. The department has the unique honor of being acclaimed as one of the outstanding and prestigious department in our institution. We render immense opportunities to the student to thrive well.

Well equipped computer lab with latest configuration systems. Computer labs are equipped with the facility of Network, Internet and Printer.

Value Added Courses

Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with ICT Academy and CISCO Networking for conducting Network Courses and providing seminars to the students in accordance with recent trends of IT industry.

Various value added on C, C++, J2EE, J2ME, Dot Net are conducted to upgrade the skills of our students.

COMPUTER LABORATORY

The Department has three well equipped computer laboratories having 240 systems with Pentium IV configuration and IBM server with latest Configuration.

INTERNET FACILITY

High – speed RF wireless tower with 2 mbps connectivity,
24 hours internet facility.

SOFTWARE

The department has all authorized software as per syllabus which includes C, C++, Visual Studio, Adobe Photoshop, Macro Media Flash, Linux, Unix, Rational Suite, Oracle etc.,

DEPARTMENT LIBRARY

The college library has 2721 titles and 4630 volumes on computer science books apart from the department library with 125 titles and 185 volumes.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Regular In-plant Training & Industrial visits are arranged to update the recent trends in the I.T. field & to improve the outbound knowledge.

The Department Conducting various events like Symposiums, Conferences, Project and model displays to exhibit the hidden talents and innovative ideas of our own and other college students also.
